Organising Costume and Props

According to Prof. Deborah Landis the primary function of costume and props is storytelling, with regards to my production this means;

For my print productions this means careful planning of costume & props is important because then the target audience can see that they are buying the right genre. For example the look of a DJ with headphones and using decks would give off a sense of electronic/clubbing music so people who were into that music would be sub-consciously drawn the front cover of the magazine.
