Past Research 

When looking back on primary, secondary and initial research I looked through these things before making the choice my genre;

• I first searched The sub genres of electronic music then went through electronic music artists and how they are photographed and what clothes they wear 
• I then went to label records, mainly looking at small label records such as Fools Gold and Mad Decent. 
• I then moved onto electronic music magazines such as, till late.com, MixMag and trax and analysed them and looked at there key elements. 
• Target Audience was then looked at from those magazines such as there age, where they live and where they shop. 
• Before making the products I analysed the distribution and the institutions that distribute music magazine, especially electronic/dance music magazines.  

I asked people about my magazine and what they liked and disliked about it. Here are the questions I asked and there response;

1. What attracts you to the product and why? 

2. What do you think my genre is and why? 

3. What do you think of the Images used and why? 

4. who do you think the target audience is and why? 

5. What do you think of the house style and why?
